CAPTAIN FEODOR PIATKOFF
Captain Feodor Piatkoff has been at the helm of the 40’ F/V Marquam, a long-line/gillnetter, for twelve years working the waters of the Gulf of Alaska, and Cook Inlet. With twenty-three years as a commercial fisherman, Captain Piatkoff and his crew (his two sons and a cousin) take pride in the quality of the catch.
During the summer the crew will switch their gear to drift for salmon in Cook Inlet.
The Marquam is a US Fishing Vessel, run by Captain Feodor Piatkoff. This vessel, is a 40 foot long-liner/gillnetter. The Marquam’s home port is Homer, Alaska and the commercial fishing vessel pursues halibut, and salmon.
The fishing method used on the Marquam for catching halibut is longlining. This method favored by North American Commercial Halibut fishermen.
